Mondays, 8-9 pm To be held via Zoom. Open to all.
First Meeting, Monday, August 31
We would love to have catechism classes outdoors as pictured above. But with the geographic spread of our inquirers and hopeful Catholics, we have decided to meet via Zoom. These meetings are for those inquiring about the Catholic faith, those preparing to become Catholic and any Catholic wishing to strengthen their knowledge of the faith through a systematic survey of their faith.
Parents are encouraged to review the Baltimore Catechism lessons with their children prior to this meeting, and to note any questions that come up that you would like to bring to this meeting. Adults are also encouraged to read the corresponding sections of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in preparation for these meetings. The meetings will be part instruction and part discussion. While the meeting time is intended to make it easier for parents with children to attend after little ones are in bed, older children may find participating with these meetings with their parents to be fruitful.
First meeting will cover: Baltimore Catechism, Lesson One Catechism of the Catholic Church: 1-133 (about 30 pages)
