Catechism Study on Prayer

Joshua Johnson

Prayer is essential for our relationship with God but often we are not sure where to start. Manuals and books abound. In my opinion, the Catechism of the Catholic Church gives the most importance succinct yet holistic summary. An entire section, or "pillar" is dedicated to it.

Over these next eight Thursdays, starting Feb 11, we will do an in-depth study of prayer using the Catechism as a guide. In it we will study scripture and the wisdom of the Saints.

The study will start at 7pm on Zoom, but you are invited to join us earlier at 6:30pm for Evening Prayer and little bit of online social time before we start at 7pm. Text for Evening Prayer is prayer.covert.org.
